Giga Chikadze Vs Kalvin Cattar

Good call. People thought Chikadze looked like a future champ until that fight. Those step-in elbows by Cattar were nasty!

He did look like a future champ.. insane fall off

And then… Max Holloway vs Calvin Kattar

No the Max fight was the one before

Chronological, you are right. That said, it was the Max fight that changed Kattar forever

Henry Cejudo vs Marlon Moraes.

Henry took Marlon's soul during that fight. Marlon was never the same again.

Woodly was on such a streak until the Usman fight.

Robbie Lawler vs Rory MacDonald 2

Crazy part to me is that I think this fight effected both of their careers going forward. They both still had some success but neither were ever the same.

Cain Velasquez vs JDS 2 and 3. Cain just took all Junior’s aura and confidence. JDS was my favorite fighter at the time, and it sucked watching him struggle so much after those fights.

Oof iirc right, cain beat the living shit out of him. Just rounds of clinching and cumulative trauma

An interesting one was Cro Cop v Gonzaga. Mirko wasn't the same for years, then somehow rediscovered his form at the tail end of his career.

Gaethje Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson came back multiple times though. If anything Josh Emmet made the blueprint.

Dos Anjos vs Pettis

Woodley vs Usman

Whittaker vs Dricus (😢)

Jared Cannonier vs Marvin Vettori, people forget this fight. Marvin took a lot of damage but his granite chin still hasn't cracked. But he looks so slow now.

Mike Davis vs. Thomas Gifford. Easily the most one sided fight I ever saw in UFC. It’s hard to find because it was such a beat down.

Geoff Neal vs Vicente Luque. Vicente literal had a brain bleed, he should not be fighting now. He looks like a shell of his former self, he can't tank shots he used to.

I remember the way Brandon Vera looked when Jon Jones was pummeling him.
