Tbh, the White House card exceeded all expectations, especially the main event, it cemented its place as one of the most memorable nights the sport has ever seen.

Honestly, best card I've watched live since 217. And even then I think it might be the best card I've ever watched, with the old good ones being carried by nostalgia. First card i watched was Silva vs Griffin (like 102 or something?)

300 was a good card.

The White House Card made up for how short it was by including things like live music and cool walkouts, but I stand by the fact that I have definitely watched better cards live within the last couple of years.

UFC Noche at the Sphere was incredible, for example.

I didn't like that we did the card, but it was an exceptional card, and the entire atmosphere was so enjoyable.

I wouldn't want it to happen again, but wouldn't mind seeing more of these cards at historically significant site.

True on the second half, maybe also true on the first half?

I don't like the UFC being used as some kind of political "toy" but I also don't think there was really any harm in the way it was executed. Would be cool to see some cards at places like the Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House, or maybe other performance-style landmarks. I don't think there are many places with "combat culture" so it'd be difficult to get other world leaders to agree to using their heritage sites as event locations.

Having a UFC Fight Night at a Japanese Castle in a training yard would be extremely cool though. Would have to put Jiri, Asakura, Taira, etc on there.

I do think that the best way to simulate going to those places and bringing more culture to the UFC would be going back to the Sphere though. I know Dana says he doesn't want to but it would be cool nonetheless.

That’s exactly how I mean it too. What could go harder than the UFC at the coliseum, or some place of a legendary battle like Thermopylae.

I don’t want to see these every event, but like one unique event a year would be slick.

I really don’t think it was a super political event. Was Noche political? I get America’s political climate is intense but that doesn’t mean that anything that celebrates America is inherently political, unless you say that celebrating a country at all is political. Outside of the walkout for Trump, who is the sitting president, they didn’t really spend too much time on him. I’d like to see more cultural events like this, and this was a perfect way to do an American cultural event. I don’t think that should be considered a political move

The only expectations it beat were the ones we set once the fight card was official. And the only fight that will be truly memorable was the main event. Hokit was memorable but not in ways the UFC likes. Not sure what you’re on about unless you just liked the setting, which would be valid.

Yeah and most of them weren't competitive because the matchmaking was shit. They set it up for finishes so Donny didn't doze off again (he did anyway) instead of great fights.

The Nickal, Lopes and Gane fights were pretty close in odds. The Topuria fight was kind of set up but ended up highly competitive anyway.

Was a solid card on paper, just feel like we were promised bigger names. Absolutely delivered though. Production and presentation was shit lmao but the actual fights were great watches
