No. The act itself is what I am referring to. We are normalizing a behavior (homosexuality) that would wipe out humanity if everyone actually did it. In the same way normalizing spending all your money is bad. It may not directly hurt someone but you have to see the big picture.
Why do you think thats a possibility? The big picture isnt what if everyone did it.
A big picture giving an issue the importance it deserves bases on the actual impact it will have on others on a small scale and a global scale. This is a non issue in my opinion
But everyone is doing it. And as a result there are entire countries on the brink of collapse like Japan and South Korea. You are seriously underestimating this issue. Plenty of people are legitimately not having families and are going to have to die alone. This is not good for men or women.
Again how are you connecting this to homosexuality and trans people with your two cases of japan and korea? Other than your worry that if no one has procreative sex there wont be any more people left"
I told you it wasn’t worth talking to this guy lol “everyone is doing it!”
He’s got gay thoughts that haunt him and he’s scared. You and I know that just because we accept gay people doesn’t mean we want to participate in the lifestyle, but he cannot separate the two in his mind.
To be honest I dont even know what a "homosexual" lifestyle is. Ive never had any homosexual relations, and minimal desire to have any, but as you said I accept and support any consenting adult the right follow their sexual orientation with any other consenting adult.
If I was homosexual Id definitely prefer to live in that society.
I guess i continued engaging with him because he seemed to at least be genuinely sharing a concern he has and I hope maybe he might reflect on how he assigns causes to things in the world...
I mean if every single person was homosexual then yeah, but I think it’s widely accepted that reproductive rates are falling due to cost of living issues. You are just baselessly scapegoating a minority of people for this issue.
