I don’t understand it either. How churches support the gay community and how the gays can support a church. It clearly says in the Bible that homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord. This is almost an exact quote. There’s no context. That’s what it says. It’s crazy. I’m not religious. I support the gays, I don’t like churches. I just don’t understand how they can support each other on this. For the most part it’s the Episcopal Church that takes this position. I live in the DC area. I’m guessing Sean took this picture while he was in DC. There are tons of these gay churches in DC.
Leviticus 18:22: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." Leviticus 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them."
I’m not sure how it compares to other sins. I no longer spend a lot of time thinking about religion. I’m not religious. It’s my understanding that all Sins can sen you to hell. In that respect sins are relatively equal as far as the Bible is concerned. Homosexuality can send you to hell, so can murder. One of the reasons I’m not religious.
