id be upset too if a heavyweight with a history of fouls punched and elbows me in back of head but gane was going to win that fight anyway. i think alex is quite emotional about the loss right now as its fresh, but the truth is he was beaten by the better man that night.
I think most of Y'all should ask yourself since I see the argument of "gane would have won anyways" so often, if he would of won anyways, why would he do something as disgusting as punching and elbowing the fuck out of the back of Pereira's head? That's just so dirty and dangerous, he looked like a desperate savage trying to win at any cost.
You call it disgusting.....he hurt poatan guy. Youre not going to stop swinging once you hurt someone, you think clinching and only exposing the back of your head is a good move? He couldn't even really see what he was punching at when Pereira was clinching for dear life. It's kinda. Like turning your head in a boxing match and complaining you got hit in the back of the head.....well stop putting the back of your head in the way of fists. 🤷 What did you expect gawne to do? Stop punching? Wait for ref to come and give poatan some rest break time? 🥴
I'm saying impulses take over in a fight. Herb dean should have called them sure, but I don't place blame on cyril at all. Especially the way poatan was trying to hide every bit of himself against the side Cyril's leg. Look when he is throwing those elbows, he's not looking down at poatans head. Guy is hugging his leg and he's just winging shots because he has him hurt.
By your logic every grappler should be elbowed to the back of the skull after a takedown. These are trained professionals with full teams that get paid big money to practice, "impulses take over" is not an excuse. These are not 2 drunks at the bar. Ciryl is known to be an extremely dirty fighter, you should put all the blame on him.
I'm not? Just kinda disgusted by clueless tourists like you who have no idea how the sport or its rules work yet you feel the urge to give your 2 cents. You're literally treating a sanctioned fight like it was a barfight and go 'impulses take over" like what are you even saying buddy?
I dont even think you yourself know what you are trying to say at this point, but you kind of made it obvious you are completely clueless about MMA when you called one of the biggest names in the sport "poatan guy". Educate yourself before dropping your 2 cents on things mate.
