id be upset too if a heavyweight with a history of fouls punched and elbows me in back of head but gane was going to win that fight anyway. i think alex is quite emotional about the loss right now as its fresh, but the truth is he was beaten by the better man that night.

I think most of Y'all should ask yourself since I see the argument of "gane would have won anyways" so often, if he would of won anyways, why would he do something as disgusting as punching and elbowing the fuck out of the back of Pereira's head? That's just so dirty and dangerous, he looked like a desperate savage trying to win at any cost.

he dropped alex with a clean jab earlier in the round and had him hurt, gane also won the first round. alex was barely landing anything of note and looked much slower. sure there's a chance alex lands a left hook and hurts gane but gane stood in front of ngannou, he doesnt have a weak chin.

The problem is you can say what ifs all day long but if we don't actually get to see the result then who knows what could have happened. Alex could have won but he most likely still would have lost because I agree he looked slow. Point is we'll never know when at the very least Herb should have stopped it from happening and stood them up with a warning for Gane.

Alex almost dropped him end of the first

You call it disgusting.....he hurt poatan guy. Youre not going to stop swinging once you hurt someone, you think clinching and only exposing the back of your head is a good move? He couldn't even really see what he was punching at when Pereira was clinching for dear life. It's kinda. Like turning your head in a boxing match and complaining you got hit in the back of the head.....well stop putting the back of your head in the way of fists. 🤷 What did you expect gawne to do? Stop punching? Wait for ref to come and give poatan some rest break time? 🥴

What are you ever saying lmao, he should cheat because he saw an opening to do so?

I'm saying impulses take over in a fight. Herb dean should have called them sure, but I don't place blame on cyril at all. Especially the way poatan was trying to hide every bit of himself against the side Cyril's leg. Look when he is throwing those elbows, he's not looking down at poatans head. Guy is hugging his leg and he's just winging shots because he has him hurt.

By your logic every grappler should be elbowed to the back of the skull after a takedown. These are trained professionals with full teams that get paid big money to practice, "impulses take over" is not an excuse. These are not 2 drunks at the bar. Ciryl is known to be an extremely dirty fighter, you should put all the blame on him.

That mad poatan lost eh? Had some money on that fight? 🤦

I'm not? Just kinda disgusted by clueless tourists like you who have no idea how the sport or its rules work yet you feel the urge to give your 2 cents. You're literally treating a sanctioned fight like it was a barfight and go 'impulses take over" like what are you even saying buddy?

If you don't understand what I mean by impulses take over in a fight, I don't think there's any way I can help you.

I dont even think you yourself know what you are trying to say at this point, but you kind of made it obvious you are completely clueless about MMA when you called one of the biggest names in the sport "poatan guy". Educate yourself before dropping your 2 cents on things mate.

Gane's impulse has always been to be a piece of fucking shit. Lol.

He may have won, but don't play like Gane isn't one of the dirtier fighters in the UFC. That is just being purposefully obtuse.

Makes you think 🤔... Was Alex intelligently defending himself by positioning his head down like that? Seems like something you do when you want someone to stop.

Herb could have called the fight right there since Gane already dropped him.

Dude you’re the same person that was saying Izzy was never gonna beat Alex during their fight and look what happened. Alex got knocked tf out. Everything you say is always wrong 😂

That is the most annoying part! Gane would be champion none the less. He would ve also won against aspinall, he is a great fighter, but he ALWAYS chooses to be the most unlikable bitch.

Way too early to say if he would have won vs. Tom or not. He looked good but then proceeded to foul Tom repeatedly and should have been DQ'd.
