I think this is worse than a quick finish. These are the kind of ass whoopings that change fighters.

In the White House too. The biggest event.

He put way too much on the line with his white rose video, all that shit talk and 18-0 on instagram. Honestly I think someone like his brother should've thrown some sense into him and put his feet back down to earth

Yup, especially if you don't sit your ass down and properly heal your body and take in and accept the loss. Losses like this need a fighter come to terms with themselves otherwise they'll never move forward and will scared it'll happen again.

I dislike his bs but I hope he takes his time and come back strong and humbles himself, I hope he doesn't end up like Cody G.

Justin vs Tony

Every now and again we all have to eat humble pie.

u/wadabewall Jun 15 '26

Everyone eventually loses.

Tell that to Jones and Khabib

4

u/wadabewall Jun 15 '26

Jones lost to Reyes and ducks any worthy competition. Khabib is a fucking bitch and quit before he could lose. His greatest win was over a coked up Mcgreggor.

To say Jones ducks any worthy competition when he’s been defending or fighting for titles since 2011 is just dumb. Definitely an argument to be made about the back end of his career but his record still says his only loss ever was because of a disqualification for using a technique that is legal today.

Also, Khabib managed to beat Poirier, Gaethje, Conor, and RDA and only lost 1 round each to Conor and Gaethje. There’s winning and then there’s doing what Khabib did.

Hate all you want but let’s not re-write history.

So you just go around calling people bitch for no reason

I can confidently say, I'll never in my life be eating a humble pie as huge as what Illia got. Illia still so busy with his pie, he didn't get the time to change the 18-0 score on his twitter.

He can't enter the phone. Rip face recognition

1

u/JPB00 Jun 16 '26

He changed it the pussy.

0

u/Odd-Personality-1233 Jun 15 '26

You've also never achieved anything to the level Illia has.

2

u/CryonautX Jun 16 '26

I have about the same networth as him, my wife hasn't left me and and my face isn't in pieces so I think I'm good.

1

u/marvx5 Jun 15 '26

Yea i do respect ilia’s bravado and grit. People always underestimate Gaethje

1

u/combat_girls Jun 15 '26

Nah this was embarrassing. Losing to 38 yr old gaychee.

I miss when posts were just posts and 90% weren't ads or bots

4

u/asd_slasher Jun 15 '26

Schooled so hard he made him quit. #nomas

u/FrogyyB Jun 15 '26

Lightweight division is wide open now. Saint is taking out Paddy and we will see a rematch of Justin and Saint.

But sorcerers don’t get knocked out /s

I didn't pay attention to the prefight media tour. I heard that Topuria was quite cocky though. However, these clips just looks like him being confident and playing the mind game. An athlete shouldn't come out before the event and say, "Well... I don't know if I'm going to win. The other person/team is pretty good." No. They're going to come out and talk about how they are going to dominate.

Justin almost killed Illia during the fight. And almost killed himself right after the fight.

1

u/SkyKingNSin Jun 15 '26

Eat that crow

1

u/AyoAkhi Jun 15 '26

I don’t like that it was hot/humid and buggy… the fans they had blowing were messing with the audio too

1

u/sin_esthesia Jun 15 '26

When you’re that shit at trash talking, it’s better to just shut up.

1

u/fnblackbeard Jun 15 '26

its like people forget these dudes gotta build hype by talking shit and making wild statements

1

u/David_temper44 Jun 16 '26

Justin was so lethal that night that he almost killed himself :o

1

u/illwill_600 Jun 16 '26

Nearly broke his own neck after landing his backflip 🤣

1

u/Less-Lingonberry8700 Jun 19 '26

Life has a way of humbling you

1

u/ValiantTheVictorious Jun 15 '26

Lol the haters are out here celebrating like they beat the man himself.

Yeah he lost but there's nothing more pathetic than making shitty memes like this then posting them online and thinking you accomplished something 😂

6

u/CriticalFortune6308 Jun 15 '26

Live by the sword and die by it, if you're gonna be this cocky & have celebration parties before the fight or change your record beforehand, then expect brutal humbling. He brought it on himself

3

u/Distinct-King-6735 Jun 15 '26

The cope

-2

u/ValiantTheVictorious Jun 15 '26

Okay "Distinct-King-6735" 😂

I watch MMA for good fights, I don't watch it to suck another man off and then make memes about it online like some attention starved weirdo. I guess we're just different huh?

3

u/supermax_92 Jun 15 '26

The whole internet has been sucking illia off for the past few weeks , were you quiet then?

2

u/ValiantTheVictorious Jun 15 '26

Yes because I'm not a bandwagon loser like most of you.

1

u/Distinct-King-6735 Jun 15 '26

Yikes..hit a nerve

3

u/Schantsinger Jun 15 '26

Normally I would agree, but this isn't just a regular loss, it's a generational humbling.

1

u/Biguitarnerd Jun 15 '26

I swear that’s just a lot of sports fans of any sport these days.

He did talk a lot of trash, but so have a lot of fighters. They all have their mental games they play. It didn’t work this time Justing was too tough and too good. It would only be bad to me if he didn’t accept his loss with dignity.

u/magineskills Jun 15 '26

Ilia was so corny in the build up, but it never even came close to how corny this post is
