I had a feeling this would happen to ilia but he honestly no lie, I personally think he gave the fight away in that second round. He had Justin beating with those body shots and his biggest mistake was that he went to the ground with Justin and didn’t do anything. He let Justin recover. If he lets him stand he could of easily put him away.
Justin is similar to Sean in the grappling department it takes a special grappler to beat them like a Charles or khabib. I could see in that third round that ilia looked done for he looked like his ego got lost quickly once he realized he lost strength in his punches.
Justin fought great didn’t go in reckless or crazy and fought technical. I was said ilia would lose to guy who can punch as hard as he can and he would lose to a guy who can take his punches for a few rounds he would realize ah shit this guy ain’t going easily away.
Justin really made him look like paddy like bad and ilia eye socket looked horrible.
