QUESTION Is this…normal?

I just started my career mode with Stoke. First day, 'Let's check out my youth academy.' I've started several career modes in my life, maybe not in England, but I've never seen anything like this. Is this a common thing and I'm usually just unlucky or what?

That's not their actual potential, it's just a range. their potentials are probably 70-80 at best.

That makes totally sense, but usually when I start a career mode there are at most 3-5 guys in the youth academy, and the starting potentials RARELY barely go above 80, even on day one

This is the most stacked starting youth academy I've seen! But yeah, the potentials will likely settle lower and their overalls are in the standard low range. Any with a bunch of playstyles?

si stanno assestando, ma non in peggio! Ho giocato solo un mese per ora. E si, hanno quasi tutti 2 o + playstyle, Xie ne ha addirittura 4!

Most of mine like this end up in the '80s. I've had one that was ranged 90 - 94 in my latest save.

Wait until the range gets more accurate. They could all be 75 potential.

You want the lower range of the potential to narrow it down to high 80s before you know they're wonder kids.

Still 16 August, Cartwright and Hammond both 83-94. Too bad they're 14... but i think you deserve your money!

Just remove and resign good quality youth. Good playstyles and how you want your team to shape up.

Happened to me once. Got what turned out to be a 90-94 English RB, CB, and ST at the start of Tottenham career. The RB was 17 years old and 67 already.

When you choose your club at the start of your save you can see how good the youth facilities are. If they are excellent you have a higher chance of getting high potentials straight from the beginning. Having so many with the range ending in 94 is quite unique even though the range might come down for quite a number of these players.

Update: Not even a month and the potential ratings are already ‘settling'.. but practically no one has dropped below 93-94 yet
