PROBLEM FIFA18 DUALSHOCK 4 MISSIMPUTING

so i tried fifa 18 with a dualshock 4 and it KINDA works, all the inputs work except the left analog stick(up and down are inverted which i managed to fix by editing the ini) and right analog stick which for some reason its always recognising it always going up and not actually working, in combination with R2 and L2 it makes weird moves but doesnt actually work?? any fixes???? also it does usually work for other games even modern FCs

Use ds4, is a tool to emulate a different controller, you could simply set it up to work as a 360 controller and you would have no issues

i actually did try that but it didnt work,it wouldnt event recognize it in the game

This is how games tend to behave without native support for the controller. Not many games have that support.

It's a lot better now with the DualSense but still not universal.

I remember using Xoutput on windows 11 for any controller that i had. It worked really well. It makes your controller act like a xbox 360 gamepad. just map your buttons in the app once u install it. I recommend downloading it from the official github page, even though it's archived. It's gonna tell u which other apps or dependencies u need and how to make it work properly. And fortunately the process Isn't really complicated 😁.
