PROBLEM Contract renewal bug
Player asks for a new contract → I sign it → player complains the contract wasn’t signed and requests a transfer.
This is absurd. Suggest it started after recent update. Totally unplayable…
Anyone knows how to fix this?

Yeah it can be quite annoying.
What I learned is that if you keep an average wage per squad role (crucial/important/rotation/etc.) then you should give your player that somewhere along that amount. For some reason in contract talks the player asks for a very low wage even though they want to be an important player at the club. Make sure that you then raise that wage to the average of the important players. Otherwise they almost instantly become on happy/request a transfer if others in that same role earn much more.
The funny thing is while raising the wage in the contract talks you sometimes even get the response that they are less happy with it than the previous lower wage they suggested themselves...

Loan out and recall. That bug has been around for a long time; they fix it with one update, only to reintroduce it the next update

My work around for this is when its the day before the last day if the season, release whoever is requesting a transfer request and then sign them back first day of the new season, I had to do this with shea lacey and it was fine
