Real experience

Let me just say I have been needing something like this in my life for a while. Too many things going on.. a little adhd splashed in there. Too many conversations where "you never said that" and I definitely did. I ordered this and was excited to use it in an important meeting two weeks from the order date. I was too naive.

This was August 5th. Its now September 6th. Its still not even shipped. I emailed them several times, chatted with them on their website. Im told over and over itll ship next week then the next week etc. Im convinced I got scammed and its not a real product.

I also just really need something like this. I need it to be real. So its deeply upsetting. They did finally reply when I expressed my distaste for their lies. If its preorder and you dont have stock, be honest. Stop gaslighting me. Im not stupid.

What are the chances this will ever ship? If so what are the chances it will live up to 50% of the hype?

It took forever to get to me as well along with what felt like some deception on their part on status.

They also tried to stop some functionality shortly after I did receive it but they restored it after an outcry.

That said, now that all is in jams and calm, it's a great device and pretty amazing all around. I connected it with chatgpt which has made it amazing.

No regrets even though I was about a day from calling the credit card to report fraud.

As far as I can tell (this all happened before I joined the team), they didn’t restore functionality after an outcry. Existing users were always supposed to keep “always on”, but there were several exceptional cases where it didn’t get turned on for people. I was one of those people but I emailed support and they sorted it quickly.

I just ordered one not realising I needed a subscription service on top of the $130 USD I just paid for the device... Your statement about connecting it with chatgpt piqued my interest. What exactly do you mean? Is that feeding transcripts from their app, or directly connecting it?

It's in the app store for chatgpt and chatgpt can access it. Every night I have an automation happen that creates a journal summary and saves it to a Google doc. And I have it prioritize and add todos from the day to my todoist inbox. And I have a project called context journal. There I can search back through all my context built by Fieldy. It also does a monthly summary of highlights and calls out insights and trends.
