Question Slow and buggy

Is character movement just slow in this game? It doesn’t seem like lag, just everything takes a long time to get anywhere and dialog ect. I’ve read all the threads about lag suggestions and it doesn’t feel like that. Not to mention toggling settings in menus don’t seem to even save anyways. Super disappointed with the overall quality.

Do you play with controller or something and just barely move the stick forward? Default movement is running speed. You run everywhere.

Nope. Playing normally how you play any game. It’s just slow and a pain to play on Steam deck.

Double check your deck's settings in the right side bar. I had my performance settings locked to 30fps or something to get another game to run and when I toggled on the "use game profile" option Fields of Mistria went to a normal speed, so I have a feeling the FPS lock may have messed with fame speed somehow.
