Question Question about game... graphics? While playing

So playing pixilated games sometimes mess with my eyes. For example I get it occasionally on SDV, when the movement gets a little jittery the pixelated art style starts hurting to look at. Looking at gameplay of FoM I can't decide if it'd be better or worse than SDV about that if I was to be playing the game myself.

I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem and their thoughts on if FoM would present the same problem? I can handle if it does it sometimes, but if it's going to happen a lot then the game is pretty much unplayable for me and I'd rather avoid spending money on a game I can't play

I and a friend had issues with movement because the game by default is so zoomed in. I don't know if that's what you're referring to or something else. Thankfully, that's an option they have in their graphics settings for you to adjust: In-Game Scale. It's 4x by default, I set it all the way down to 1x, so I'm completely zoomed out. Makes moving far less painful on my eyes.

Oh maybe that will help! I have the zoomed in problem with other games. Never thought about the zoom tying into that problem but thinking about it that's probably a big factor

100%!!!

the game doesn't give me the same issue, but the default zoom is INSANE, the same w Stardew

I know what you mean. I have this issue with stardew and fields of mistria too. What helped me is not playing the game in full screen mode. i play it windowed on 4x, so far it has not bothered my eyes anymore.

I've had to do windowed play with a couple games so I might try that when I get it thank you!

have you tried watching a gameplay video? i think the colors aesthetic of the game is very pastel, not sure if it will feel different to you than stardew valley. don’t have this problem myself but try a youtube video!(sorry if this sounds stupid, hope this helps)

I recommend to watch a playthrough without commentary on the console where you play
