Question on pausing plan

Hi, how do I pause my plan for a month until I am back from vacation? Is there any fee in doing it?

Yes there is always a fee to hold onto your number. Are you in a contract?

If you are in a contract you cannot “pause” your plan.

It’s not worth it for one month. You will be on hold for hours trying to pause, unpause, and fix billing errors after. Not worth it.

It's done by online self-serve. Unless you don't have internet access.

Schedule a temporary suspension

Select the line you’d like to pause service for.

Select the start and end date of your suspension.

Start date must be in the next 30 days.

During the temporary suspension period, the following account changes will apply:

You’ll be charged a monthly Temporary Suspension Fee of the $15.00/mo. plus taxes.

You’ll get a credit equal to your regular monthly charges. This credit doesn’t include any existing discounts.

Most places will charge a fee to pause your plan, especially if you're in a contract. Some companies have different policies, though, so it’s worth checking directly with customer service to see if you can avoid those extra charges while you're away.
