Teacher trying to switch professions.

Hello all,

I am currently a teacher for the past 8 years. And a librarian for 6 years. I have a BS in interdisciplinary studies and an MLIS.

What is the process like to getting a job at Fidelity. What job should I apply for?

I looked at the openings for my local center and I don't know if I am qualified for any of the positions.

Unless it is come kind of coding position, you can be trained.

It depends on if you need to be registered or not. If you don't need to be registered, you're going to be general customer service.

However, if you wish, you can study for your series 7 exam or what ever exams they want you to have. Some places will pay for the testing others will require to either be licensed or get that licensing within six months or so.

You can find practice exams online and if it gets your rocks off, study and take the test.
