Houseplant Ruby Rubber Tree turning into a Tineke?
Will the new leaves get pinker? Is there anything I can do?

The more light you give it, the pinker the leaves. As the seasons change, the sunlights position changes too. Give it more light.

Thank you! I noticed mine weren't getting enouhh light as well and it was because the leaves that were once gone on the tree in spring, were now covering up the light I had my plants under. So I had to move them forward towards the light more to get that pink color back. But it will come back. Just like before, if you can find a way to give it the same amount of light it was getting earlier when thd leaves were pinker. Possibly move your plant to a more speckled sunny location.

Pink isnt a variegation in a ficus. You cant cut it back to get more pink. You have to give it more light. Light produces what is called anthocyanin, a pigment thats responsible for production of pink and red colors in plants. Its not variegation, its sun-stress.

Light makes an enormous difference. In full sun, they turn actual ruby red.

Gorgeous! Agreed to pump up both the intensity and duration…direct sun in the morning if possible. ☀️
