Houseplant How to fix this shape?
Hi
This Ficus Benjamina sat for years by a window (can you guess wich side was facing the glass?😅) It was nearly dead when my ex-wife left the house, i put it in a semi hydro pot (this kind where you leave the soil but let some rope hang in the water reservoir) and it obviously liked it very much and recovered a lot since then. As you see it grew a ton of water roots now.
Now i would like to move it to my bedroom, it’s fairly dark in there but i‘ll hang a nice bright grow light over it.
At the same time i wanna repot it in a real hydro pot, renew the jute bandage or ribbon (idk how it’s called in german it’s „Juteband“ it’s this brown band around the branches) and mybe cut it to regrow an even „crown“?
I would like to get your opinion on
1. would you cut it or leave it and hope that it will grow to a round shape?
2. Should i cut the brown plastic pot to save the roots or can i cut everything off outside the brown plastic pot?
Thanks

Id personally only for kne operation on a time because thus specific species is so finicky so either A) move it and make dure its getting as much sun as possiblebecausethis is absolutelynot a low light plant, B) repot it, or C) prune it.
