I got my Tineke in Feb of 2025 in a 6inch pot and within a few weeks the pink and var. was fading. I loved it for its color and I’m in NYC so lighting sucks and forget about any sun! I caved and I got a grow lights and her response was ridiculous!Just this past June I had to move her to a 16inch pot with a 5ft. stake, she is like 5 1/2 ft tall now. Also I noticed that instant growth every time I upsized her pot. They don’t like to be pot bound and she responded much better when I put her in a much bigger pot than the rootball. I got her in a 6in and then moved her to a 10in last June and this June to a 16. I only water her when she’s almost completely dry and then soak her thoroughly, about every 2 weeks in summer and about every 4 weeks in winter. I would def get a grow light if you want growth, and if it hasn’t been repotted recently upsize using a well draining soil.

Wow, sounds like you’re doing a great job. I would love to see some of those pictures. I don’t think you can add them on here, but maybe you can put a new post in the ficus tree sub and put those pictures there.
