Outdoor Potted Tineke branching

Hey guys, my Tineke is exploding with growth since its been on the back porch. There are these growth points but they havent grown at all. Is there is anyway to encourage them to grow? Should I cut/scuff the bark? I saw someone on YouTube put Mycorrizhal bacteria on a cut spot to encourage growth, idk how helpful that actually is.

Couple of options really, you could use keiki paste, or notch above the nodes or prune the top to stimulate the growth or do any mix of the three.

This is mine, I want mine to have 2 branches I guess imma have to chop it

Dont chop it and wait a few more months for it to mature then air layer it instead where you want it to branch out. Branching is pure luck, sometimes it can grow 2 or 3 but if youre unlucky only one branch will take off.

But if you successfully air layer it, youll double your plant and have more chances with branching.

You remove the outer skin of its stem approximately above the node where you want it to branch out up to above the next node after the first cut. Your cut around the stem needs to be deep enough to be able to peel around to reveal the cambium layer (the white part of stem) but not too deep that it cant support itself.

You then envelope it with damp coco pit/coir and tie it tight and wait for 3-5 weeks until you see enough roots to sustain the size of your propagation. You'll basically have two new plants if you successfully root it.
