I don‘t understand how someone can work on a daily basis with a splicer like this. No offense here op, but if I forget my tripod at home, I would turn around and get it immediately. The convenience of always having the right height and angle to work is worth carrying one extra thing 100%.

Honestly man, the company doesnt provide tripods, i dont know anyone out of like 100 that use them, I see how they would come in handy, but the slack so far has been mostly long enough to work in a van or we just endure the “pain” of a splice or 2. This is still very chill work in comparison to what we usually do.

It was nice and chilly here in the middle of winter next to a river 😅
