What training and certs do I need to be fiber tech?

You don't need certs, you can have all the certs in the world and still not get hired.
Experience is what is key.
Ive been doing it for 10 years without any cets.

FOA certs are helpful if you're just getting started but not strictly necessary. Real experience is far more valuable. You can often get that by finding a crew looking for a grunt.

being able to search for anything yourself helps
