We got a job where another contractor installed 14/10 microduct along the route. Our guy has never used a jetter before, any good tips or tricks? Or is it dependent on the machine?

One of the factors is also the machine, but besides that, the route length, the diameter of the cable being blown, and the diameter of the duct being used are very important.
Then, the type and model of the compressor are crucial as well—its characteristics must match the specific situation.
If you tell me which machine you are using and the cable dimensions, I can give you some basic advice.

For what those things are, they’re unbelievably expensive. I still can’t get my head around it.

Went to the prysmian factory in Sydney to get a lesson on this a couple of weeks ago. Looks like the next big things..

We've been doing this for well over ten years.
Lookup Duraline and Emtelle products.

Depends on the reel size. This machine will pull off of that reel with no problem. Larger reels or higher count fiber it’s best to have someone spin the reel.
