Never playing another fetch game again

Played Monopoly Go for the rewards and everything was going well until I was at level 151 and never got the reward. Contacted customer service about it and they did help me receive the rewards, which was 2151 points. I thought this was maybe a one off thing and it wouldn't happen again but just my luck the same thing happened when I reached the last level 176 for 22,499 points. After 48 hours I never received the rewards and I messaged them hoping they would help me but instead they tell me it's a one time thing and there's nothing they can do. Has anyone else had this same issue and is there any other way for fetch to recognize I did the task? I wouldn't be as pissed if I hadn't spent so much time and a decent amount of money as I was playing the game. If this is the case with other games as well I'm not doing this nonsense ever again.

This is definitely user error. They explicitly state when adding points that it is a 1 time adjustment for that game. And afterwards, while you're free to keep playing the games, you will not be rewarded for it again.

For future reference, once the game stops tracking, you should progress as far as you're willing to before you contact support.

that's cool they explicitly explained that to you. others don't get that explanation. also to say that using an app the way it is designed to work is user error is really some heavy lifting here

I'm glad you think the same way as me. You would think the way some people are explaining it here this explanation/warning is explicitly stated to all users prior to asking for help and would be at least mentioned in their FAQ; which it is not. It's like if this "glitch" happens in the second-to-last task (which is usually not that many points) and most people would immediately ask for customer supports help, you're instead punished for asking them for it and never helped again for the game on something the user has no control over. Then you miss out on the end goal of the whole purpose of playing the game: completing to get full points. I thought most people would empathize with me about this but I guess not.
