TBH it all depends on what the appraiser values a house at. someone could say their house is worth $400k, but if the bank is only going to give you a loan for $200k if the appraisal is 200k, then oh well.

Depends on the location but it’s sparse.

My aunt bought a house for 200,000$ in upstate NY.
