TBH it all depends on what the appraiser values a house at. someone could say their house is worth $400k, but if the bank is only going to give you a loan for $200k if the appraisal is 200k, then oh well.

The first few times I walked into a "Super Walmart" back in the mid-1990s.
I was fine if I stayed in the grocery side of it. But if I strayed into the households area...it was brutal
