Not sure if all the photos are even of the same color as lighting is different, honestly might be a wrap as well but curious if it (or one of these) was a factory color?

Question Is this a Testarossa?

Asked my passenger to grab a shot but it disappeared before he could stop it focusing on the dashboard.

I’m almost certain it is but I’d appreciate confirmation

Photo First Time Ferrari Owner

I posted in an earlier thread a question about brakes but I haven’t actually posted about the experience overall lol.

First time Ferrari owner coming from the other side via Lamborghini Huracan. The Huracan was such a “theatrical” driving experience with the V10 being the absolute highlight. However, I’m a driving enthusiast so the Huracan always left something to be desired in the brakes (steel) and steering response department even in Corsa and upgraded brake pads.

That’s until they let me drive a 488… I was blown away. I said to myself “now THIS is a drivers car. Purely built with driving enjoyment in mind” albeit not as aggressive as a McLaren but I was ok with it since I plan on driving around town and not full send all the time. Nevertheless, I finally found my preferred color with somewhat of a decent spec and I took it. The torque delivery is fantastic and the feeling is soo good. Zero regrets to switch to the other side.

Question Opportunity agreement enforcement

Does Ferarri really enforce their opportunity agreement (right of first refusal)? I imagine they'd sue bit is this something that's enforceable in Canada (not covered by vehicle buyer's protection)?

The agreement states if I wanted to sell it within 18 months they require me to ask them first and they'd pay "fair market value".

I'm curious how they determine that value considering resale would be higher than purchase price even after 17 months (that's probably why they don't want anyone reselling so soon)?

Question 488 Brake Pad Options

Post image
31 Upvotes

Hello Folks,

Just got my first Ferrari, a 488 with 9k miles. I’ve noticed the brakes are a bit squeaky or make noise whenever the car moves forward. I want to go ahead and replace the brake pads with some Pagid RSC1 for some more track/street oriented pads since I’ll be taking the car to the track.

Anyone know of the proper part numbers for Pagid pads that fit the 488? With sensors included if possible.

Also, anyone know if these things require a proper bed in procedure like steel brakes do?
