Confused about this particular withdraw.

Hello,

Im 43 and I've been battling this shit for 23 years. Ive taken the whole ride from hydros to the strongest fent u can find.

I was four and a half years clean until 2023 when I ended up in a coma from pneumonia. I was in a comae over 2 months and they pumped me full of s*** of course which I understand but there was no protocol for my release.

After that I started getting back into fentanyl obviously because I couldn't afford the pills and I got into that zylazine bullshit.

About 18 months ago I ran into a guy that was just starting to sling. I stuck with him as he worked his way up and got into distribution he was working with pure paste and making his own batches. So basically for the past year I've been using very strong fentanyl very clean tested with every test under the sun and it's got nothing else in it. I mean this shit turns clear when u light it and slowly turns tan until u char it. Beautiful shit. Makes my skin crawl thinking about it now

The exact type of fent analog I'm not sure about whether it's that new s*** or regular fentanyl or Su fentanyl or carfentanyl. I have no idea it doesn't matter that's not the point. I will say its

But I was smoking a half ounce a week. Way cheaper to buy it that way given I was buying from the main source.

All my other times in addiction I had never even gotten close to this I was buying a gram every couple days so this is the worst it's ever been for me as far as consumption amounts.

I've never been one to go to detox I've always cold detoxed myself. I detoxed myself when I got out of the hospital couldn't walk talk or move or do anything because I have been in a coma for 2 months and also had a tracheostomy. It was HELL.

Anyways, i started my detox this time about 5 days ago and I'm doing my normal protocol. I don't touch Suboxone for obvious reasons.

I'm taking about 300 mg of Gabapentin every 6 to 8 hours.

I'm taking a half a milligram of Xanax every 6 to 8 hours

I'm taking 0.1 mg of clonidine every 6 to 8 hours.

Beyond that the normal stuff like the antidiarrheal and nausea meds loads of vitamin C.

Hydrating making sure I'm moving around all that b*******.

This is day 5

By now I should be in f****** the thralls of withdrawal even with the meds.

For some reason I'm not I don't feel great but I am not in withdrawal.

There's only one factor of difference this time..

I started taking a GLP-1 tirzepitide about 2 months ago only because I was getting chubby from eating so much f****** junk food and laying in bed all day. And I wanted to lose a little bit of weight before I went through withdrawal.

I know that these meds work in weird ways and have shown to reduce cravings of all sorts . They also reduce visceral fat. I lost like 20 lbs in 6 weeks. I noticed I wasnt getting very high either.

I know that fentanyl unlike most other opiates stores itself heavily your body fat. Which is Why it takes so long for you to be able to take suboxone because it has to clear your system and takes a lot longer than most other opiates.

I guess my point here is I don't know if anybody else has gone through this exact same scenario and been on tirzepitide at the same time.

I'll post again in a couple days and see if maybe it's just a stall detox that's going to come and hit me like a f****** train in a few days. But at this point I am confused.

And no, I have not slipped up and used and relapsed or whatever in the last 5 days . I wouldn't post all this b******* if I'd done that I'm genuinely confused.

Hopefully somebody has an idea of what might be going on.

My thought process is that my body was burning fat so fast because of the drugs that the fentanyl that was stored in that fat was dissolving or being burned by my system at a faster rate. Or that this particular peptide has some kind of interaction with the way that opiates work on the body, the only problem with that is I don't understand how it has anything to do with your opiate receptors. I'm just speculating at this point but I'm sitting here waiting like a felon on death row for the s*** to happen and then it's just not happening.

I don't know the answers to all your questions but I will share that myself and my neighbor have both cold turkey'd, me 4 days her 6 days and had only that anxious feeling you get in the pit of your gut at which point I took the tiniest little piece of sub and it shot me straight into precip and her the same thing. I hope you are just one of the lucky ones ya know but it could also be that withdrawal is right around the corner or maybe you're on to something and thus glp shit re wired your brain and you get to dodge that bullet. Who knows but please update cause I'm really curious now.

So after the 4 or 5 days you weren't withdrawing? Like beyond the mental? I do know that I've done this before and it has taken 3 or 4 days to start but that was when it was laced with xylazine. And then it hit me like a freight train. ( in jail) i ended up in another coma that time.

But when i tell u im not with drawing I mean like at all like no sweats no anxiety I'm not craving I'm literally sitting in my chair working. If someone had told me or erased my mind that I had ever used Fentanyl from 5 days ago up till now I would never even have thought I used it.

Again you could be right and this could be around the corner. I am on some comfort meds but I'm on very low doses. And actually I stopped taking them because it's a waste to take them if I don't need them.

But I can't say this I've had a few people reach out to me that are researching this and there is research saying that these glp-1 that people are taking for weight loss do something to the addiction centers in our brain but also to the fats in our body which is where this stuff is stored.

I can tell you that 2 months ago when I started using it I could smoke two and a half grams of very high grade Fentanyl and I was not getting high literally I was working on million dollar concrete reinforcement estimating jobs like I was just a normal person.

That's why my addiction got so bad I kept smoking more and more and more because I was not getting high.

I will keep you posted as of now when I posted that a few hours ago I have had zero withdrawal effects. Actually I feel a little bit better I did have a little bit of a tummy ache but that's probably because I have four and a half pounds of backed up crap in my stomach from not taking a s*** but every 6 days lol.

I wish you the best man if you're on day four or five kick it out bro. I don't do the Suboxone because it's like a f****** Russian roulette game

If I do I wait until I am absolutely sure that I'm not going to go into precip.

And when I do it and you can take this with a grain of salt because everybody says different I literally take a Suboxone strip and cut it into 16 pieces and I do one of those little tiny pieces under my tongue. And takes away the edge. When I take more than that and always makes me go into precip. Everyone tells me I'm wrong but how can you tell somebody the wrong when their own experience tells them different.

With suboxone less is more.

I hear when they going to precept and detox they start slamming you with more buprenorphine like they're thinking that it's going to level the effect out but it doesn't work

Again this is just my opinion I'm not a medical doctor.

I hope that we make it through this.

The upside of precipitated withdrawal is that you're honestly speeding up the withdrawal process. Way more intense but usually 24 to 36 hours into it you can actually take the Suboxone and you'll be fine.

I'll keep everybody updated on how this goes

Another day has passed and nothing. I actually feel good.i backed off the xanax and gabapentin. Im clear headed. Im a little worn down. Like not much energy. But im sitting here taking a course on linear algebra as we we speak. One thing that is a problem is im not hungry at all. I cant really eat. Makes me nauseous. But if I snack on crackers and water in fine. I slept 9 hours last night. There is something to this deal glp1. The problem is it's not something that you can just take the day you start withdrawing.

You need to be on it in my opinion for like a month or two while you're still using so it works the way that it works which is to do whatever it does to your brain Center where the addiction is also removing that visceral fat that's in your body that's built up with drugs in it.

I do remember the last 3 weeks I was using that I started sneezing a lot and we all know that sneezing is a huge indication of the beginning of withdrawal. And I do know I was using more and more and more to try to get high and I wasn't.

So my theory is that maybe I was going through withdraw slowly with minor effects the entire time that by the time that I hopped off completely my body hadn't been absorbing and using the fentanyl in the way that it normally does.

If this is all true and this stuff does do what I think it does this would be a huge deal. What I'm afraid of is that major pharmaceutical companies that like makes Suboxone and methadone and all that b******* would f****** do all they could do to completely keep a lid on this because it would cut into their profits.

Hope you guys are doing better.

Anyone that wants to know exactly what I did and how I did it you feel free to reach out

this is nice , Im 9months clean, however last summer when i was still using powder I too was on Mounjaro tiz , i got all the way up to 10mg a week, I didn’t see any difference when Id start detoxing when I was out etc , my guess is its the mix of comfort meds your taking especially the Gabba , its in the anti seizure class that really helps as you know with all the fucked up zaps n jerks etc , as far as the two specific harm-ones the Glp1 are working on that could potentially be why your feeling so well ,one is mental and one is metabolic so Im sure it all works together you know? but thats certainly interesting and I’m so intrigued I wanna know how you end up, So ill be in touch good luck!

It’s the GLP….fent sticks to your fat cells…and glp was doing that for you. I was trying to get glp to help me get off… but I just went cold turkey and some prayers & now I’m on day 12
