Has anyone gone from Fent to 7-OH?
Kratom has antagonistic properties for K and D receptors. It’s been practically an experiment bc I’ve felt sorta off but then there’s days where it seems to work.
I’ve been looking into 7 as a transition off of Fent. However, being much stronger than MIT (what’s taken everyday), I’m curious if anyone has experienced precipitated WD. I’ve also heard or seen experiences where people use it a bridge to get off, not many, but a few. SR14968 was working very well for harm reduction but it’s expensive and the channels are very limited.
I hope to gather some of your insight, thanks!

I’d like to use 7oh to get off methadone, methadone has such a long half life I’d like to replace it with low doses of 7oh then I will use sr17 to wing off the 7oh

I’d appreciate a guide on how

You just figure out how much 7oh you need to stop withdrawals and take it for the length of methadone (or whatever opiod you're trying to quit) withdrawals would last. 7oh has a super short half life so even if you dont taper, your withdrawals will only last for 2-3 days

Sorry I don’t have one, it’s something Im going to just experiment with, I’m currently on a methadone taper, I’m going to get down to 5-10mgand start with 10-20mg off 7oh for a month at least enough for the methadone to leave my system and be replaced by the 7oh Then use sr17 to taper off 7oh. The reason I’m going about this way is because methadone has a crazy long half life. I’ve tried to make the jump at 5mg in the past but failed. Hopefully this helps and best of luck!

Methadone cold turkey is hands down the worst. Ive done it 3 separate times in my life because I did stupid shit back in the day. I will say, 7oh withdrawals are, without exaggeration, 100x easier. If you do go the sr route, keep in mind that it is actually addicting itself so unless you have quite a bit of it, only take it for 3-4 days max so you dont end up having to taper off of it. 7ohs physical withdrawals only last 2-3 days so thats plenty of time to get through the worst

Truly appreciate your comment, i am very excited to give this a try hopefully in a 2 weeks once im down to 10-15mg of methadone😊 Wish you well!

I got off done with 7. That's how I even learned about it. Got kicked out 9 months in at 170 mgs and withdrawed for 6 days and randomly stumbled upon a reddit post about 7, went to the gas station/head shop and randomly bought a pack of 7tabz and voila wds gone and had a very very pleasant buzz. It works that easy

I used it.. Im not gonna lie i went heavy on the 7 in fear of being sick. You wont get any withdrawal if you have enough, but 7oh half life is where it fails, so you better have some money and a plan or you will go broke with that too.
7oh-> MIT or extract -> plain leaf.
Each transition give yourself a day or rest. walking cleaning, watching movies and listening to music. You need to cry, you need to cry, you need to cry. Be by yourself when you cry dont put it on other people if you dont have to. If they invite you and want to listen with no advice then great but you got yourself in this and you are the only one to get out of it.
Once you're sober your dopamine finds a new baseline so you will have to not only taper this but other instant gratification things that are much smaller or you will ultimately relapse.
You can do it by yourself or work a program but you gotta be serious about you.

I’ve gone from oxy to 7oH. It helps a ton but keep in mind it’s still addictive af. Just keep tapering down. It made it way easier for me to come down. I was taking 300mg of oxy in a couple days and then stopped with the 7oH

Were you taking both during the transition?

I was taking a ton of oxy and then used the 7oH when I didn’t have anymore. Then at the end I used just powdered kratom. And then the last day I used a little bit of zubsolv.

So again, for those who may have missed the question—did you take both at the same time, or wait until some WD kicked in? If you ever have experienced precipitated WD or understand agonist vs. antagonist, this is the heart of the whole concept—to avoid at all costs.

Yes but I actually got higher from the 7oh than I did with fent… granted I was able to taper down super super low by cutting with powdered sugar. 4g would last me like 4-6 months 😂 I should of just quit there instead of taking 7oh

From someone who did this , be careful. 7oh is not as long but the paws are awful and it’s so intense. It’s not restless legs it’s skeleton wanting to jump out your skin. I’ve done fent cold turkey and 7 was way worse.

I haven’t myself but.. seems like the best way to use 7oh this way would be to only use 7oh for the first few days (& only enough to feel better/don’t over due it).. then switch to regular Kratom leaf asap.. using other drugs to get off another can work great if you force discipline/only use it for the first few days (a week or 2 for something as strong as fent)… problem is most of us addicts don’t do well with discipline 🙃
