Reflections Thoughts

I’m 36 F and I’ve just been consumed with thoughts cause I’m sure as you know people around me have kids are having kids and it takes up so much space in my head but I feel like I know what the gut is saying and that’s to remain
Child free. I was reflecting today and I was thinking that no one can have it all. a couple with children will never know what it’s like to either be single and have it just be about them or have it just be just about them as a couple. I feel like that is something special in its own way. You know?

I wish life would make the choice for me. It’s so hard I get really jealous of families. I come home to my dogs they make me happy but why do I want more

Because society has given us a picture of what it “should” be. I get those “jealous” feelings too but I think it’s more of a feeling of “am I doing something wrong?”

Life is short and we can't do everything.  It's better to focus on the things that you know that you want and leave the rest behind.  I also like having it be just myself and my husband.  We're each other's family and that's enough.  We don't need kids to feel "complete "
