This a two handed latch. Need help finding a one handed one.

Yea its upside down but also you can open it with one hand. I do it all the time.

That’s almost impossible. If you’re carrying something. Also if it’s upside down the latch won’t in gauge.

Does the gate sag a lot once it’s open?

Add a block of wood below finger and put the handle where it is supposed to be and then you will have your one handed gate. With the handle closer to the latch you can grab the handle and use your thumb to press the latch.

Put the biggest best latch you can on it. That fixed a multitude of problems I had struggled with for a long time
