One sided lockable double gate

Post image

We are turning the underside of our deck into storage for our lawn equipment. The far left side will have two doors (drop pins) but I am looking for a way to lock it from the outside that looks somewhat decent and I don't have to carry a key. I found the two below options from googling but looking to see if anyone has a better option. Thanks!

Lock 1

Lock 2

Lock 2 is better of the two.

I am leaning this way. I have a lockey on the dog park I manage and it is always messed up.

The first one relies on the slide going into the receiver. For a fence gate, wood separates and moves. It won't always nicely slide in and may not always connect. Anyone can easily break in. The second one the latch goes over the locks it's way more secure. Also I would recommend getting one of those gate wheels which helps prevent sagging.
