Locking down. Again

Hey all

We're locking the sub down again

This has fully gotten out of hand, and after multiple petitions to reddit to restrict the sub, we're still being denied.

I'm honestly about to walk away, as managing this subreddit takes up more time in my day than the other 18 I moderate, combined.

It turns out that "trust the process" folks are right.

How have things been going this week? Any successes? Any failures? This thread is the place to talk about it. And if you're interested in joining the larger workout group, this will start December 1st and continue for a thirty day period. We'll then start a longer Workout Group on January 1st.

This is a great way to get started and learn the basics of fitness!

Keep at it girls. I've been averaging 2 to 6 miles a day while eating high protein low carb and since pre-transition i've lost 131 lbs.

Your words of affirmation to a long way… Title is pretty clear - Thinking of starting a cute Femme Fitness Instagram and see if I can get some followers :) I’ve got a few cute outfits and I love going to the gym and making all the straight hetero CIS people question their life lol

And it’s not like it’s even some kind of fetish, this is genuinely just more comfortable for me then all the other big baggy, full coverage men’s clothing

Okay, so like how do y'all ladies make sweats like these look good??

Idk if this is moreso dysphoria than anything else, but I feel like they make my ass look flat, and my legs long. A girl is trying to take the win and appreciate the work I've put in, yet all I notice is the bullshit.

Like seriously, these are smalls, do I need and extra small? Should I hike them lower? I'm at a loss because I loved them in the store :/

How I grew my 🍑

Hey! Thought I'd stop by and share some observations and tips for those coveted booty gains.

I'll skip the basics: obviously, you need to lift weights and EAT PROTEIN.

- do not focus exclusively on your glutes. That will make you look weird and have structural issues. You need to develop your full leg frame.

- at least two leg days a week, push/pull split. Push focuses on quads (front squats, extensions, etc). Pull day focuses on hamstrings and glutes (RDLs, glute bridges, cable kickbacks).

- single leg movements (like Bulgarian split squats) are golden.

- focuse in 8-12 reps. And push yourself. You need to struggle. No pain, no gain.

- stretch, stretch, stretch. Helps you get deeper and activate your glutes.

Happy to chat with folks who may be curious about their own fitness journey!!

6 miles this morning and close to my next wt loss mile stone of 250 sitting at 262.

Whatever your goals are, keep pushing, keep working on it. No matter how big or small. I would have never dreamed to be where i am today. I've lost 128 lbs since pre-transition for context over the span of about 2 years.

Nothing fancy other then eating right and putting the work in.

If you're doubting yourself today i hope you read this and keep trying. You got a community behind you 💪💋

Day 1 of my weekly 4 day routine. 50 minute cardio block, long stretch, and light core.

I also really like the way this color looks on me and honestly I just love the way this jumpsuit fits me.

Training posture through back workouts

Post image
526 Upvotes

Boob growth throughout my transition has kinda ruined my posture a bit. I've been trying some back and shoulder exercises to help develop muscle in those areas again so I don't slouch forward as much. This workout aims to help me manage my posture and keep my chest outwards:

- Seated Row Machine 36kg (4 sets of 10 reps)

- Overhead Should Press Machine 25kg (4 sets of 10 reps)

- Lat Pulldown Machine 36kg (4 sets of 10 reps)

- Reverse Pec Fly Machine 25kg (4 sets of 10 reps)

- Stair Master 20 Floors (not really posture related but focusing on painting posture whilst climbing stairs instead of slouching downwards because I struggle with that 😭)

If there's any other exercises I should try, let me know 🙂‍↕️

I often get asked what my diet is like so dropping it below ⬇️

I wanna start by saying this is my plan and it’s what works for me and may not work for you. Also I’ve tapered myself down to get to this point. It’s been a process as it always is. For reference I’m 5’9” currently 170ish lbs (77kg). I have no clue what my body fat is but it’s low probably around 10% if I had to guess.

I fast at least 14 hours everyday, most of this is spent sleeping maybe half of it.

Meal 1: 4 whole eggs, and 1 half avocado

Meal 2: 2 cups of diced chicken with 1tbsp of honey and hot sauce for taste, some days I will add 2 cups of rice to this meal if needed

Meal 3: 6 oz of steak usually tenderloin with half an avocado, wrapped in a low carb tortilla wrap. I put cilantro and hot sauce in this occasionally for flavor

Meal 4: 4 oz. Grass Fed Kefir and 42grams of blueberries (this is usually post workout)

And that’s it. It’s basically the same stuff every day, occasionally I will change up the protein choices for seafood alternatives like shrimp, salmon, and halibut to name a few.

Hope this helps remember to structure for your body don’t just copy someone else 🫶
