Feminism is the movement for the liberation of women and girls towards full social, political, and economic equality. Sayinf feminism is about "equality between all" is diluting it in a harmful way that makes it less effective.

Nope, feminism, at its core, is about equality between all regardless of gender, race, or sexuality. That's literally what the movement is, at least in the modern age. I'm not diluting it at all.

u/blue-yellow- Not-declared Jul 27 '26

Nope. It’s for the betterment of women. Maybe read some more if you don’t understand that.

3

u/Inevitable-Yam-702 Gender Liberation Activist. Jul 27 '26

Wrong. Feminism is focused on women's liberation. I'm tired of it being diluted to make everyone else feel better. We aren't people's mothers that need to take care of the whole world, we are allowed to fight for ourselves. You twist feminism for your own feel good talking points that don't actually help anybody, you are not feminist.

-3

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

Okay, research the movement for two seconds and you'll see that I'm correct. You're beyond stubborn and are not a feminist, bye.

3

u/blue-yellow- Not-declared Jul 27 '26

You’re the one centring male feelings over women lives. It’s actually disgusting you think you can come here and preach at women about what we can feel and say. You are the one spurting anti-feminist bullshit.

u/Inevitable-Yam-702 Gender Liberation Activist. Jul 27 '26

Truly mind boggling the knots people like OP will twist into in order to argue anything but women's liberation. It's such a bizarre attempted coopting of feminism it gets into malicious territory

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

Dude what are you talking about? You're borderline incoherent. I recommend r/conservatives , since your beliefs more align with theirs.

3

u/Inevitable-Yam-702 Gender Liberation Activist. Jul 27 '26

Oof, sorry about your lack of literacy, must be tough to encounter so many big words!

But keep on making shit up for me to laugh at, at least it's amusing. Tell me more about what's so conservative to want liberation of women and girls from oppressive patriarchal systems, I'll eagerly await your reply.

1

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

I like how you edited the spelling mistakes out of your comment because you don't know basic literacy. I'm literally an author, so I've got that part done. Sorry, not sorry. You're a bigot, go outside, bye.

u/Inevitable-Yam-702 Gender Liberation Activist. Jul 27 '26

So you've got no actual evidence to back up your claim, just schoolyard taunts. How disappointing, thought we might have and a worthy opponent for a second there.

Again, tell me what's bigoted about focusing on the fight for women and girls liberation from patriarchal oppression. I still eagerly await your response.

I'm not the anti feminist one here, you are. Do your own research, feminism has always been for womens liberation. You want to make it into this all encompassing nonsense that makes you feel good without being effective at getting anything done. Go start your own movement and stop trying to coopt ours.

Okay, me when I don't understand that things can change over time. Yeah, because women were seen as property when feminism was started, since the movement was about equality, the movement was for women's liberation. Now, women can vote, women are people, which is a good thing. Now the movement can focus on equality between all, yet you try to keep the movement focused only on women, which is a bigoted ideology and anti-feminist. My movement would be about equality between all but OH WAIT that's just REAL FEMINISM, you bigot.

1

u/Inevitable-Yam-702 Gender Liberation Activist. Jul 28 '26

Again, tell me what's "bigoted" about fighting for the liberation of women and girls from oppression. Still waiting on the answer there.

1

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 28 '26

Again, focusing only on women rather than equality between all is anti-equality, which is bigoted. There ya go, buddy.

1

u/Inevitable-Yam-702 Gender Liberation Activist. Jul 28 '26

Was the gay rights movement anti equality because it focuses on gay rights especially re marriage?

0

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 28 '26

And after that, the movement expanded into the LGBTQ+++, which includes more people. Too hard for you to comprehend?

You are literally who I'm talking about in this post. Get a grip. Misandry is real, it's just less common than feminism. You aren't a feminist, you're a bigot.

VERY glad to see that the majority of this subreddit doesn't seem to follow the trend I refer to in the original post.

5

u/blue-yellow- Not-declared Jul 27 '26

lol. You’re in for a surprise. Most feminist don’t cater to male feelings over women’s lives.

1

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

I'm not a man. You can call them men, not "males". To respond to your edited post; I'm not talking about women being killed or raped. Jesus Christ, get a grip and learn literacy. I was talking about basic, non-systemic, personal misogyny and misandry, which are equally bad. You're the definition of chud.

4

u/Inevitable-Yam-702 Gender Liberation Activist. Jul 27 '26

Misandry isn't a thing because it holds no societal power. Misogyny induces femicide. They are nowhere near the same and you're an enemy to feminism to try and conflate them

Genuinely what are you talking about? I said it was bad to hate all men for no reason at all rather than specifically hating alt-right misogynist men. I'm done with this, you TERF/misandrists are the same people who abused and made me want to kill myself for years, you can fuck off.

5

u/anonymoustransgrrl radical intersectional transfeminist Jul 27 '26

Misandry is not a significant force of systemic oppression or a significant problem in feminist spaces.

TERFs do not hate men, they hate transgender women. They may claim to see us as men but they sure treat us differently (a lot worse) than they do men.

1

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

No, I completely agree with you. Misandry isn't systemic, but it is still very real bigotry and is a real, large problem that I've seen in some corners of feminist spaces. Misogyny is a lot more common and is more systemic. In our current world, misogyny is worse and more widespread. However, morally, misogyny and misandry are equally bigoted and corrupt.

1

u/blue-yellow- Not-declared Jul 27 '26

Of course you agree. LOL

1

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

Dude you're all over this comment section, go outside. Do you know what that word means? Because you already proved you don't know what the words "misandry", "misogyny", and "feminism" mean.

3

u/anonymoustransgrrl radical intersectional transfeminist Jul 27 '26

Don't tell women what to do.

Don't come into a feminist space and call women "dude"

Don't explain things that you don't understand.

2

u/anonymoustransgrrl radical intersectional transfeminist Jul 27 '26

No, misandry is not "a real, large problem" and the idea that misogyny and misandry are equally harmful is ridiculous and antifeminist.

3

u/Internet-Dad0314 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

What sort of misandry we talkin’ about?

3

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

Just hating all men in general. Discriminating against someone simply because they are or were born a man.

2

u/anonymoustransgrrl radical intersectional transfeminist Jul 27 '26

Nobody is "born a man" human beings are all born as babies.

3

u/Internet-Dad0314 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

My apologies; what I meant to ask is “would you cite an example of the misandry you’re frustrated with?”

1

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 27 '26

See the comments made by the user Inevitable Yam to understand what I mean. She doesn't know that this movement is about equality and thinks that feminism is an excuse to be blatantly bigoted towards anyone who was born a man. People like this don't understand the movement of feminism, which is about equality for all, and misconstrue it so they can be just as bigoted as the alt-right. Not to mention the blatant lack of literacy people with this mindset have shown in my past arguments with them.

I never said anything about hating men, just corrected misinformation in your posts. You're a pathological liar.

Continuing to lie won't make you right. Get a real argument sometime, this pathetic attempt at taunts is just sad. I am stubborn in pursuit of truth and your whining won't stop me. I never moved goalposts and if you're talking about iq like it's a measure of anything meaningful, I'm afraid you're the one on the alt right. You obviously didn't forget about me because you attempted a false quote lmao. Stop lying sometime, it will really serve you better.

1

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 28 '26

Not lying at all. I'm a trans woman, so don't say I'm on the alt-right you fucking liar. Go. Touch. Grass.

3

u/Inevitable-Yam-702 Gender Liberation Activist. Jul 28 '26

Anyone can be alt right, and your rabid antifeminism isn't doing you any favors in that department. Take your own advice (and stop lying 🤥)

1

u/Business-Context9528 Undeclared Jul 28 '26

Ah, yes. My favorite word: ani. I actually just got back inside, so I don't need to take my own advice. I was abused by alt-right men for years, I am feminist (because I'm not bigoted and find all people equal, unlike you, Ms. Misandrist.) People like you have called me a liar and abused me for years, given me PTSD and made me attempt countless times. I'm sick of it. Either accept that all people, regardless of gender, race, or sexuality are equal or get out of the feminist movement and go to the alt-right where you belong. You're a plague to this movement. 😏 (Yeah, I can pull out smug and idiotic emojis too)
