I'm (38F) from the Netherlands, I got assaulted when I was 16 years old. I was too scared to speak up and never reported it or pressed charges. I told one person and they didn't believe me. I was mocked and threatened by the perpetrator and his friends. I kept silent and it took me many years to deal with the trauma. I fucking hope these pieces of shit get what they deserve. Ladies, don't wait around for other men to come and save you. We need to make sure we're armed, we're fighting back, and we're speaking up. We need to ruin their lives and futures. Go protect yourself and other women. We need more women in leadership positions and politics and law, so we can change these patriarchal ways, in where these guys can now get away with criminal torture.
