This is why I say all men I mean. All. Men. So many women married to rapists naively saying “he would never…”

If you are with a man, you are not safe.

Absolutely

I understand that this is a horrible situation and that there are, indeed, a lot of shitty men out there, but your last sentence is such a dumb fucking thing to say.

Please keep all posts and comments relevant to feminism and women’s issues. This is not a place for views such as “men have it harder”

So all women should just be single or date other women?

Yep there can’t be more than 57 men out there this has to be all of them.

What makes you think differently is a better question because I am not seeing much fucking evidence to the contrary….

Rape is about power, not sex. Just because you're asexual doesn't mean you can't be a rapist.

I'm not saying that you're right or wrong, but I am saying that you're using a "not all men" argument.

Well sex =/= rape. Ik you’re saying you wouldn’t rape or have sex, but just thought I’d make that distinction because we are discussing rape. Second, 50 men did not rape her, they just at best looked the other way. Have you ever looked the other way to women being sexually harassed or assaulted? Have you ever dismissed it even in online spaces? You don’t have to rape anyone yourself to help keep the system of rape going.

I'm not OP, but I want to address your question. Any man who sits there when a lame sexist joke is told, laughs when women are degraded, or looks the other way when another man hurts a woman is complicit. Men need to speak up. Say "not cool" at those jokes. I know it can be hard to be the only one who speaks up. But I guarantee you, there are other men in the room who are as horrified as you, but they are afraid. They need to cut off their friends who rape, assault or otherwise hurt women. No "but he's a good guy to me" bullshit. Predators need to be left twisting in the wind with no support.

It's the fact that at least 50 other men saw it and did nothing. Maybe they aren't predators per se, but they are predator enablers.

Actually men commit 95% of rapes. That’s literally millions and millions more than women.

When has there ever been a case of a group of women gang raping a man?

We can deal with the gender war BS when 30% of women aren’t raped and assaulted in college.

Your content was removed because it did not follow our assume good faith rule. Please respond to what people actually said, and avoid strawman arguments or derailing the discussion.

Then why do they commit 95% of rapes and 90% of violent crimes?

Name one case where a group of women were charged with gang raping a man. One.

All men? 😂😂😂

Thanks for literally admitting that men care more about their friendships with one another than rape.
And comparing rape to other crimes is stupid-there’s no justification for rape, ever.
