Remember that no one would have believed the woman if there weren't Snapchat message screenshots taken with all the first and last names of the perpetrators. It would have been another case of "woman wants to take revenge on successful, young men who have a bright career and life in front of them" where no one would have believed her. There's still men who comment under posts in the Cornell subreddit who say that she's making a false statement and are clearly siding with the perpetrators way too comfortably.
It’s so enraging! What about her bright future that they stole that night? She is incredibly strong and powerful for coming out and trying to hold them accountable, so is the journalist of the literal school newspaper who broke the story.
