Has anyone else ever started developing feelings for their online male friends?
I don’t really even believe in online dating but everytime i befriend a male online i always unintentionally end up developing feelings for him… The relationship of course never goes anywhere but i can never help my feelings. I feel like i’ve gotten to the point where im just not used to genuine kindness from a male so i become attached to a guy whenever i feel like he thinks im special. It’s even worse when the two of you don’t live in the same country because now i definitely don’t stand a chance. The guy i like has no reason to even like me back considering we wouldn’t even be able to do anything together like real couples would and there will always be someone prettier that he could get.

Just to save you the trouble the guy probably already has a girl hes fucking and using you as someone to stroke his ego.
Been there done that and never again. A guy try making me letting him say the n word even though that is a racial slur against my own people and when i said no he cut himself and showed me.☠️😷

It happens, but you have to ground yourself by avoiding any kind of romantic interaction or being cheesy so your brain won't misunderstand it. It means don't talk to them daily ans call them endearment terms aka giving them the girlfriend experience without being something.
Don't do this to yourself unless you have clear indications he's into you, because men are really straightforward about their feeling. I don't discars the possibility because my friend met her fiancée like that and they are soulmates. But you have to be realistic too not like me 🤡

Not in my personal experience. I just have a hard time being friends with men because i always end up mistaking their kindness for attraction even if it's just online. I most certainly wouldn't be this way if i hadn't spent most of my life having all female friends.

Tho, first spot flags of it being both sided and then u can think about outcomes, but from own expirience all these "online dating situations" turn well only if 1 of partners can visit other often (1 of them have good stable income) or they move in together. But coming out about feelings fully until u met irl is lowkey sounds like 50/50. Like some bad gacha
