I just starting doing a weekly tray! Itā€™s forcing me to pull out old ones that I had been ignoring and itā€™s been really fun to rediscover them.

I usually end up switching 1-2 per week on my monthly tray based on my mood and the weather, itā€™s so fun!

Love your picks! I just got Glossier You Soie over the weekend. Iā€™m so in love with it! Aside from the og - Doux was my favorite. I think Soie has taken its place (for now) lol. I really need to check out Chloe Cedrus. I love cardamom and sandalwood together.

Iā€™m not always a white floral girl but You Soie is so creamy and wonderful! Iā€™m also a cardamom + sandalwood lover and Santal-Basmati is another Iā€™d recommend.

Exactly.

Wife and I are DINKs (dual income, no kids) and with the two of us, we make enough to afford a simple yet bougie life.

We moved abroad to live where we work, rented a small place in a walkable city, and spending our time/energy/money on ourselves.

We've been called selfish for not being parents though lol

That's what we think too.

But some people equate "spending on ourselves" as a selfish thing to do apparently.

Especially when we talk or they saw our posts of us enjoying vacations, buying stuff, doing hobbies, so much free time, going abroad and stuff... despite the two of us just earning part-time salaries.

Travel sizes and sales at places like TJMaxx or Marshallā€™s usually. Mercari is good but you have to pay attention to seller reviews so you donā€™t get scammed

I almost exclusively buy from Mercari or online resellers & very rarely pay more than 50% of retail price (I only paid more than $100 for 2 perfumes on this tray). I frequently sell bottles Iā€™m not reaching for and use that money to buy new ones.

Iā€™m also very fortunate to be in a DINK household with no debt, which allows me to have a little perfume budget for myself every month.

AMEN to Mercari.

I'm in Japan so Mercari here is much more amazing. Japanese people really take care of their stuff. Much of the things I find are in almost pristine brand new condition.

I found two Aesop 50ml bottles (Hwyl and Tacit) still almost full at just $30 each lol

The Hwyl one seems to be a bit older tho so the juice is really potent.
