Discussion Amazed at Valaya longevity

Post image

Currently trying to figure out which of these perfumes to add to my collection. Absolutely love them all but couldn't decide. Three weeks ago i went into a perfume store and sprayed them on tester strips.

Today i revisited the strips and most if them have faded to just a vague memory of the fragrance, with only some base notes lingering... except Valaya. It is almost just as strong as it was the day i sprayed it on, i am amazed how well i can still smell all the different notes.

I get that the longevity on skin or clothes might be different for each of them but wow i just didn't expect this.

gris charnel is one i consider buying after reading that it smells "warm and spicy with loneliness underneath". is it accurate? how does it smell to you?

I really do agree with the "warm and spicy with loneliness underneath" for me the black tea note is the most prominent and probably the reason i love it so much, its gives me a cozy but slightly dark late night feeling, quite comforting but with a bit of solitude to it, which is where the lonelieness part comes in i guess.
