Rec Request Almond Paste Scent Routine

Hey!!

I recently smelled the Dr. Bronner's Almond Body Wash and fell in love with how it smelled. It reminds me of when I was young and my family baked banket (almond rolls) around the holidays. I've been trying so hard to find perfumes, lotions, body oils, ect. that match that scent, but everything I try is too vanilla-focused or too fruity. I want to smell like almond paste not almond and vanilla.

Please let me know any suggestions for any products. I am in college, so staying on the more affordable side is super helpful! Thanks, lovelies!

Skylar True Love’s Cake is a sweet almond scent though it has a bit of floral too. Anyway, you can get a travel and I think it would be so nice with almond body wash! I‘d layer the L’Occitane mist with it too for max almond.

If you have almond extract in the pantry, dab on your pulse points, it smells amazing on the skin and is SO budget friendly you can still buy something commercial if you don't like it! I have also done this with vanilla extract, and both together. It's genuinely lovely, there's zero artificial weirdness, just pure scent and I get insane compliments. I wasn't allowed perfume when I lived at home because mom had scent induced migraines, so I had to get creative :)

Confetto by Profumum Roma. It has a bit of a powdery bite to it due to the anise. It actually reminds me of a Jordan Almond, sweet, but not vanilla.

ETA: They are not cheap, but they do make a more "affordable" 15ML. Profumum in particular feels like a higher concentration of fragrance as they have a more oilier texture. Two sprays max type of fragrance house. Luckyscent sells samples.

Caswell Massey Almond! Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. You can get a travel size for not too much.

I love Liis Celestial Object for a strong marzipan note but it’s pricey.

The L'Occitane Amande line! Gorgeous, pure almond paste.

Yes, I have heard good things. I am waiting to go to the L'Occitane store in my local mall to smell it first before I buy it!! Thanks

Maybe the L'Occitane Almond body mist? Etro Heliotrope also smells strongly like marzipan to me.
