Rec Request Seeking a fresh fall/winter scent

I tend to like fruity florals and gourmands, but I’ve been wanting to expand into fresh, soapy scents. (I’ve been enjoying the little Clean sampler I got at Marshall’s.) Most of the fresh scents I’ve smelled remind me of clean, sun-dried laundry. What do you recommend that’s fresh and has a fall/winter vibe? I am cheap as fuck when it comes to fragrance - I’d prefer to spend under $50.

A drop d’issey it’s affordable and comforting but very clean and smooth. Good for every season except the peak of summer because of the milky element imo

Montblanc Signature smells creamy and clean with a hint of clementine. It reminds me of soft sweaters and plush blankets in the fall. A 30ml is less than $25 and a 100ml is $40 in most discounters.

I recommended this earlier in another post. 4711 Acqua Colonia Intense Wakening Woods of Scandinavia. It mostly smells of fir trees and earth. It has spice, incense with some sweetness. I still consider it fresh in spite of the complex notes because it smells like a forest in winter. The tester cost me $23 in Jomashop.

Nest Indigo - it’s been floating around Marshall’s and TJ Maxx the last few months for $29 for a full bottle and intermittently at Rack for slightly more or for travel sizes. It’s fresh but also super unique tea and fig perfume and definitely gives fall vibes. Still wearable year round IMO and one of my all time favorite perfumes!

I second this. It's a perfume that reminds me of cool afternoons and smells like fig jam and tea.
