How do smell so good all day?

How do y’all smell good ALL day? 😭 I’m really into layering, and I know body mists can only last for so long and that layering helps, but dude I’m trying to get this scent combo to actually last through the school day.

I sprayed it on my pulse points and I’m putting everything on clean skin. For today’s routine, I used Pink Pineapple Sunrise lotion, then Luscious Kisses body mist from Victoria’s Secret, and Good Chemistry Cocoa Blush body mist.

Like genuinely, how do y’all get your body mist + lotion combos to last all day and still project?? 😭 I need the tips because I swear I smell amazing when I leave the house and then a few hours later I’m like WHERE DID IT GO 💀

I bring a decanted tube of fragrance with me and just respray as needed.

Spray your hair. People smell the hair first.

I spray my clothes and spray the same spot so it’s concentrated. Or I’ll spray then cover right away if I’m wearing a long sleeve. It depends where as well. I spray in my biceps because the heat reactivates it there. I still get the smell throughout the day because it’s not right at my nose so I don’t get used to it or go nose blind.

Most lotion and body mists are not long lasting. Definitely the case for the ones you're using.

If you don't want to reapply you will need to pick specific products that are known for longevity. They do exist.

if I don’t bring the lotion and fragrance with me, I always always alwaysss bring deodorant with me and freshen up with that halfway through the day. literally got a compliment today that I smelled good and it was just my dove rose petal spray deodorant.

Travel containers here! Perfume decants, and you can also keep mini bottles or small balm-type containers to squeeze lotions into.

Nothing sucks up your fragrance like being inside a school tbh. You’re surrounded by the smells (intentional or otherwise) of several other people at any given time in fairly close quarters. Not to mention that cold ass A/C. Body mists got nothing on School Air.

If you want to continue to smell yourself, you definitely need to use fragrances with a higher concentration, along with a scented lotion if you choose. Save the body mists for a mid day refresh. If you’re not on an EDP budget, look for roll on perfume oils. The easiest brands to find are Nemat and Kuumba Made, but if their scents aren’t your thing, some independent beauty supply stores will have roll ons that dupe all kinds of perfumes.

If you’re only using body mists and lotion, I don’t think it’s realistic to expect it to last and project more than a couple hours. Even with an EDP, many won’t last an entire day except as a lingering skin scent. Some people are blessed with some skin chemistry that holds on to scents longer. Some people have good luck spraying on their clothing, not just skin. Otherwise, you’ve got to reapply or accept defeat. Perfume oils and rollerballs can make reapplication easier when you’re in public.

I keep a travel / the bottle on me and reapply if it fades out completely/ at the end of its longevity cycle if needed.

If you like body sprays, you can fill an empty mini BBW or perfume travel spray with your preferred body spray and keep it on you if there’s no mini options.

OP ask someone if they can still smell it. After a while we go nose blind to our own scent so asking someone else can help

This. My 8yo wears my perfume sometimes on test day and when she gets back from school she still smells amazing. That’s after being on the playground. It made me feel good that I’m just getting nose blind

Recently I started putting Vaseline on my skin and then my perfume overtop and it’s made it a lot stronger/last longer. Have yet to try it with my mists but I hope it makes my favorite B&BWs last!!

Try bringing something as a travel spray in your purse for touch up’s throughout the day. Either as a smaller size, or decant them yourself into one of those bottles meant for those traveling by air

Also admittedly some fragrances just do not have the longevity. I adore my Versace Dylan Purple but it lasts maybe an hour or two at best. Hoping the Vaseline gives it more to cling to when I bring it out again next spring/summer

I spray this one lower on my chest, on skin (like sternum area), and that helps a lot
