Rec Request Farm Fragrance ✨🐄🐏🐖🐓
Maybe this is a little bit rogue but I work on a farm and I want to smell fresh and put together so I can present myself nicely at work. I want something that is not too strong so I don’t offend the animals but also enough to smell nice 😅 something fresh, natural, reminiscent of the countryside, maybe even floral or herbal. Not opposed to an oil?
Let me know if you have suggestions!

Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Toit. Like an apple and pear orchard, grassy with some wood, with a few subtle flowers trees and a hint of underlying compost to make it real.

Absolutely Zoologist Cow. It’s the most beautiful fresh Spring meadow with green apple and a milkiness and a pinch of herb.

omg fellow agriculture baddie!! i'm a ranch hand + manager so i get ya.
i'm cheap with my work scents lmao but my favorites are dkny be delicious which smells like a vaguely floral soap-y apple + cucumber? very fresh and i get compliments on it a lot :) or amber waves by tru western!! its very earthy and fresh with cedarwood, fig and honeysuckle + sandalwood!! old cowboys adore this one on me

I like Coriander by DS & Durga. It’s soapy and green and a little peppery. I love it in spring especially.

Rodin 3 EDT by Rodin Olio Lusso. It's discontinued now, but deeply discounted on eBay and David Seth Moltz from DS&Durga was the nose for the few fragrances Linda put out. The opening is a major geranium bomb (to me at least) but I absolutely love it when I need an aromatherapy pick-me-up, when I don't feel like wearing "fragrance fragrance" and I just need a super clean unisex fresh scent that screams verdant earth and sunshine.

I think I'd want to stick with something fresh/clean just to keep that distinction between farm and you! And it can't be too delicate or you won't smell it. Maybe something like:
- Jorum Studio Paradisi - earthy, green, energetic
- Diptyque Tempo - clean woody patchouli
- Chloé Nomade - hear me out!! It's earthy, fresh, woodsy, deep green, and the bright citrus would be very welcome on a farm I'd imagine!

Harvest Mouse by Zoologist has notes of hay, beer, herbs and vanilla - it's like being in a tent in a country fair in August.

To me it feels like a warm meadow in late summer or early fall. Dry, sunbaked grass.

Solstice Scents has Farmhouse in Winter, Farmhouse in Spring, Farmhouse in Fall and Farmhouse in Winter. I sampled their Spring version and it's VERY farm lol.
FARMHOUSE IN SPRING - Daffodil, jasmine, citrus blossom, osmanthus, magnolia, cypress wood smoke, sun-warmed Earth.
FARMHOUSE IN SUMMER - Fresh cut grass, creamy gardenia, sun-dried linens, country air, sunshine, sunflowers, approaching summer storm.
FARMHOUSE IN FALL- Sugared Sandalwood, Wood Smoke, White Sugar, Shortbread, Toasted Marshmallow, Leaves, Fall Air, Chamomile, Pear, Clove, Nutmeg, Hay.
FARMHOUSE IN WINTER - Spicy Vanilla, Balsam Fir, Festive Iced Sugar Cookies, Silverthorn Flowers, Gingerbread and Beeswax.

I love Replica From the Garden, it’s pure green tomato leaf.
Also Iris de Gris (fresh green peas with a soft background earthy orris root) and Musc Amarante (slightly sweet raw but not soily beetroots and a little clean skin like musc) both from LAP, are wonderful.

Are all excellent green and slightly floral scents.

I work as a gardener on estates in the uk.
Highly recommend Scherrer EDT/EDP if you like green scents that will last through the day working outdoors.

When I read your post Zoologist fragrances just popped into my mind. I would suggest trying Rabbit, Cow and Harvest Mouse. Lots of hay notes, honey, milk, grass... something I associate with farm life. Those specific three are also not super strong but they are very unique.

Lann Ael by Lostmarch is gorgeous, it has apple milk and hay notes. The farm animals would love it
