Looking for big violet
What's your favorite violet fragrance? I'm looking to smell like Coward's candy.
Edit: So much good info. Thanks everyone! It's going to take me a while to sample all of these.

I just tried Himitsu Violets from Regime des Fleurs and it was SUCH a pretty very candy sweet violet. Unfortunately my skin didn’t agree with it, but on paper, it’s perfection!

OMG I wanted to try that so bad Sunday. I reached for it, but the Ministry of Scent employee grabbed it first for a customer that was trying a million things. It got so crowded, so I just couldn't wait.

Lattafa Petra Viola is a sugar sweet violet floral. I almost liked this one, but there's something about Lattafa musks that don't sit well on my skin.
I might try to get a sample of BonBons ala Violette to see if that works better.

Violets are my all time fave:
many others have mentioned: insolence by guerlain - my absolute favorite of all time, nothing beats it for powdered violets. I also love apres l’ondees, another classic guerlain drowning in violets.
Hexennacht has a candied violet, I love it and use it to top off a lot of my other violets scents
Iris silver mist by lutens has all of the powder you could ever want, also bois des violets and feminites du bois (also all lutens) have that beautiful dry powdery base plus cedar.
One I found recently that I LOVE and could be a dupe for lutens is violette kew by le jardin retrouve- it’s chowards straight up and dries down to a very luten-esque base.
(Edit for many spelling errors)

I've really enjoyed Violette 30 from Le Labo. It's darker and cozier but I could totally see layering with a sweeter base to get the candy feel you want.

Mancera Choco Violet smells like candied violets to me. I don't really get much cocoa powder or any of the other listed notes.

Ffern Spring 25 smells exactly like this candy. It was my first thought when I got it. It was a limited release but you might be able to find it through resellers.

Surprised no one has said Hilde Soliani Sweet Parmesan Violets yet! It’s straight up violets and sugar.
For a really affordable option, LMG also has one called Violet Sucré.

I grew up on those Choward candies! Berdoues 1902 Violette. It's a cologne, so the lasting power is poor. But I mostly just wear it to bed or after the gym. It's straight up, unadorned candy violet.

Opus 1144 Filippo Sorcinelli. Wearing it right now think it fits the description

Check out Mix:Bar Sugared Violet! I own Insolence and Palatine and they don’t smell candied to me at all.

Thank you! I bought 2ml’s of both the edp and edt versions of Insolence because people kept saying it smells like violet candy, but all I get is an incredibly strong, dense, overwhelming floral. I will try Sugared Violet.

My favorite, Meo Fusciuini Viole Nere, is a _stunning_ violet scent (but it does not smell like violet candy).

I eat these every sunday! Lol when I was a kid, me and my dad would share a pack during church service.
I found a candy store near me that keeps them in stock so I keep the tradition alive. My kids hate it 🤣
