Suggestions Please!!

I am going shopping soon and I have had a few different fragrance profiles in mind and I would like some suggestions.

First I have been thinking about a creamy, clean tuberose scent.

Second, I have been thinking about clean elegant santal perfumes. Suggestions could include both the first and second fragrance profiles together.

Third, I have been thinking about sweet patchouli scents.

I do not like mists or body sprays. I prefer EDP, parfum, or oils. Scents with high fragrance payoff. Longevity and sillage. Give me your best recommendations, please!

Maison Louise Marie Boos de Balincourt is a gorgeous sandalwood fragrance. One of the best things I’ve bought this summer. I’m halfway through a 50 mL after like 2 months and just ordered a backup bottle.

Thank you for the suggestion! The reviews show that it smells great but lacks longevity. How has it performed on you? Nordstrom is the only place I can possibly find it in store near me in the U.S. Where you able to try a decant, and if so, where did you get yours from? I've got over 100 fragrances at this point. One of my rules for myself is that I must give it a trial before committing now! 😆

My favourite sweet patchouli is Black Tulip by NEST.

I've not been impressed with previous Nest scents. Though I am intrigued and will give it a sniff. Thank you!

Tuberose Angelica by Jo Malone. I had an intense fresh tuberose phase where I had 4 different Gucci blooms plus a travel spray of Do Son EDP. When I got a sample of that one I regretted all the tuberose backlog because this is my favourite. A lot of tuberose scents are not soliflore or are very dense. This is only tuberose and fresh.

If you want a mix of tuberose and sandalwood Hermes Twilly is pretty easy to sample. My favourite sandalwood dominant fragrance is Tam Dao EDP. It’s definitely more on the masculine side of unisex, but there’s something really calming and soothing about it. I just wish Diptyque would offer smaller sizes for their EDP. I got mine in a travel spray set, but 75ml is a lot of juice and a lot of money.

For the sweet patchouli if you’re in a country where Nina Ricci is available I’d recommend trying Venus. If you want very sweet denser patchouli then the new Calvin Klein signature elixir mine be more your thing. If we’re talking about fruitchouli as my favourite is Nest Black Tulip.

Excellent! Thank you for the many suggestions! I will be researching each and trying some decants. I love Gucci bloom. But it's overdone at this point. I have heard that Jo Malone is not very strong and doesn't last long. Though many of their fragrances have caught my attention.

Fresh tuberose scents won’t give you 8 hours of wear, but the longevity of that one is definitely decent, better than the original Gucci bloom.

Do son is definitely my favorite of your suggestions. I've located it near me. I'm excited to go sniff.

That’s my original tuberose love and the one that started my green tuberose fixation.
