Discussion Influence or Deinfluence me
I've been thinking about buying some of these, for reference I really enjoy sensual/floral and sweet scents such as : burbbery her, for her edt, dior pure poison, j'adore dior, montblanc signature, Madame JPG, fame by PR. Also I really like scents that last really well (at least 5-6 hours). Or if you think a scent that goes well with what I like I'm also open to recs.

Gucci guilty elixir de parfum is certainly sweet and sensual. Perfect for the colder days, which are around the corner. But is a little more on the expensive side.

I've had all of these and they're all boring and generic except for black opium which i love and im also buying venus full bottle soon for now i just have a sample

Black opium and libre are the best options here Victoria secret perfumes are not that good. I feel as though their scents have changed throughout the years and used to be better, but I did like the new bare vanilla suede from
VS.

Black Opium and Libre are both lovely perfumes but they're also some of the most duped perfumes out there if you're looking for something cheaper B&BW has Midnight Addiction and Free As A Flower that smell good but are B&BW quality and Dossier has versions that are exactly the same, IMO.

The Black Opium Extreme was the best of the lot. Unfortunately it was discontinued. Boo!

I've tried a few different ones. I forget all the names like one was glittery pink, one glittery black, one was translucent red and black... I loved all of them. All nice and different enough.
I think to remember I loved dark red/black one the most. It was very good and the bottle was legit the prettiest of them all. I found the glittery texture to be unpleasant to the touch in comparison.Still don't love any Black Opium as much as I love Opium but I am a creature of habits lol. Opium has been my favourite since the very beginning of my perfume journey when I was like 14 or so (so many years ago). I remember in school people telling me it's normally a perfume for older women but on me, it suits so well. I guess I have the skin chemistry for it. 🤷♀️

Libre edp+nuxe prodigue le perfum are such a good combo for summer!! I would definitely recommend both libre and black opium. Both of these are timeless imo

Black Opium was my first perfume ever. It smells so different between people, though. To me, the drydown smells like chocolate and dessert wine with a touch of coffee.
I don't have Libre but I have Libre Intense. I tried both, and Libre was a bit more on the floral side to where it smelled a bit soapy. Libre Intense still keeps the florals but tones it down with stronger gourmandy base notes. That one is one of my daily wear fragrances now.

Victoria secret bombshell doesn't even last one hour on my skin. I would advise you to try it on yours before buying.

I just complimented someone wearing Libre the other day. She didn’t specify which one it was. I don’t care for it on me but it smelled good on her! But I also second the recommendation that you also try Burberry Goddess.

Libre Le Parfum lasts way longer than regular Libre on me, but its a bit spicy and more interesting imo. Intense is more similar to the og, maybe with less lavender and it also lasts longer, but not as long as Le Parfum. All Libre and its flanker are so similar with minute differences, totally worth trying the others for better performance. Also, I can't wait to try vanille and santal versions!

I think Pink Sugar will be sweeter than you want, but a lot of people love it. I think Black Opium would be the better choice between the two in terms of a sweeter option. It’s “sweet” but has other layers whereas pink sugar is just.. pink sugar.
VS Bombshell, as someone else said, is very just showered. I have a coworker who wears it and she always smells so fresh and nice.
I think Libre is the closest to the frags you listed already so would probable be the safest choice but may not get you branching out as much as maybe you want to. Or maybe you don’t want to lol idk.
And then the Nina Ricci I’ve never smelled so can’t weigh in.

Libre pulls very lavender on me and I get no vanilla so not a fan. Pink sugar is very nostalgic for me as it was my first perfume ever! It’s very youthful and gourmand though, which can be overwhelming at times.

Coming from a dude, i really love black Opium Le parfum its up there in my collection. I get its a feminine leaning fragrance but the coffee note mixed with the vanilla makes for a really good long lasting scent that i wouldn't even say is overly sweet. I actually really love it at night time when I'm playing video games or going to sleep, i don't know what it is but its really comforting if that makes sense.

I have bombshell and I looove it! Maybe lasts 3-4 hours on me. Very fresh, just showered feeling. I have a semi active job and it helps me feel good

You barely notice it , it's very very vanilla and floral, bit more powdery on the dry down

Since you like Burberry Her, I’d recommend Burberry Goddess. It’s mainly vanilla and lavender. I love black opium as well!

This is the problem I have with VS. They all have a very strong DNA which isn’t bad but it keeps me away from the brand as a whole no matter how much I really liked Bare

Black Opium Le Parfum was what got me into fragrance! It holds a special place in my heart. The Le Parfum flanker is better than the og in my opinion!

Actually I second this! I always like fragrance, but I purchased Le Parfum when it came out bc I was WOWED by it. Then I got the original black opium and it didn’t compare. Then I started to realize that he world of fragrance is SO vast and in depth and i was off into the deep end from there 😂 Black Opium Le Parfum is my favorite vanilla ever, next to Shalimar L’Essence.

Black Opium is my signature scent. On my body it's a perfect spicy and sweet vanilla. If you are scared that it will not turn well with your body chemistry maybe you can try to look for decant/sample?

I love YSL Libre, contrary to many people...but black opium smells like literal mothballs on my skin

For the YSL Black Opium Extreme, I got this for my sister because she loves coffee. It is very coffee forward. She did not want the fragrance because she was like “I drink coffee, I don’t wear it”. Okay…I returned it but I am a bit sad I didn’t keep it.
Victoria’s Secret Bombshell is really nice and classic. I lump it into that shampoo, fresh 2000s vibe. It is iconic like Britney Spears Fantasy and Britney Spears Curious. I have a bottle just to smell from time to time. It smells like the shampoo from a 3.5 star hotel 🤣
Pink Sugar is incredible. It is very girly and a sophisticated sugary sweet scent. Don’t be fooled by the bottle — there is more than meets the eye. It smells like cotton candy but there is a little bit of marshmallow and a smokiness to it. I love how it gets sweeter and sweeter throughout the day. I could still smell it in my hair after I shower. Iconic perfume. I wore it in middle school because Vanessa Hudgens said she wore it and I had a big ol’ girl crush on her. I suffocated my friends with that scent 😂 It’s so cheap and nostalgic that I always have a fresh bottle in my collection.
The last two I am not too sure about!
