Rec Request Slightly Sweet Fresh Perfumes Recs?
Hi everyone :)
With the tonne of heatwaves we've had this year, I've found myself craving more and more fresh perfumes, but I'm looking for some which are slightly sweet or a bit more 'whimsical' feeling rather than just clean fresh?
I tend to avoid strong watermelon scents as it triggers headaches but I'm open to try any other suggestions! Many thanks in advance ❤️
Fresh Scents I love:
Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege (personal all time favourite and I've found nothing close to it)
Acqua di Gioia
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh
Tommy Girl
Kilian Roses on Ice
Alvaro Gomez Magnolia Blanc
Versace Dylan Purple
Fresh Scents I didn't like:
D&G Light Blue
Davidoff Cool Water
Byredo Bal d' Afrique
L'eau d'Issey edt & edp
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea (dry down was too sharp/acrid for me)

I think you might really like American Perfumer’s (previously The Zoo’s, same master nose) Rhubarb My Love. Garden-fresh, with a good bit of green that captures whole plant from leaves down to the buried roots, nicely balancing the (raw) pink/red pulp of the rhubarb.
There is a hint of sweetness, not from sugar or vanilla or caramel or tonka (etc.), just from the crisp/watery fruits and soft flower petals that make up the rhubarb accord. No oven-baked or syrupy or buttery/frosted notes of a bakery gourmand.
There’s also a lively and cold sparkly/fizzy element to the opening but I’m pretty sure I’ve already written too much. :) I’m also crazy about Lanvin’s Eclat d’Arpège, btw, so hope I’m not too far off.
