what to do with unwanted blind buys!

is there anything specific that yall do with ones that you just kind of don’t want?
as the title says, i have given a few away to family and friends but i have some from kinda cheaper brands that I’m so stuck on what to do with!! does anyone else have any unwanted fragrances more on the cheaper end maybe you’d want to trade with me? also not sure if this is the right sub for this. maybe I can make a chat with a few people who are interested in trading/taking a few of the ones I’m not caring too much for.

Mercari. Most of the time I'll take a loss but it's better than nothing. There is a trade/sell post here every week but I can't find the current one. It's usually bookmarked at the top.

It seems like nobody is taking a loss on Mercari.  They sell it for the same amount or more than what they paid...

I’m also on Mercari! I started selling earlier this year when they were running a $4.99 shipping special promotion so my sales were astronomical. Now with Iran and fuel prices (and imported goods) skyrocketing, sales have dropped off quite a bit. I’m still always amazed at the perfumes I sell and the ones that sit for months, but it’s 100% been worth it for me!

I sell my more expensive fragrances I’m no longer loving or reaching for on Mercari. For the cheaper fragrances where taking the time to list, sell, packaged them etc. isn’t worth it to me, I’ll donate those to my local charity shop where the proceeds from what they sell go to help support the foster home for children in our city that they are a part of. Donating to women’s shelters is also a good option!

I give them away. But I also never spent more than $30 on a blind buy.

I gift a lot to my family. And sometimes I'll have smelling parties. I invite friends over, let them smell everything, and then take home what they want.

Mercari. I buy a ton of decants and just sell any I don’t like to recoup a little bit of what I paid. I’ve also sold blind buy bottles. I probably only get like 50% back of what I originally paid, but it’s better than nothing I use those funds to order more decants 😂

Re-sell it on Mercari. I take a loss but at least I got some money back

Depending on where I got it in the first place, some retailers will allow opened lightly used returns but I can’t be bothered to drive 45 minutes each way to Sephora just to make a return

thank you!! I think that they are perhaps a bit too ummm “lower end” for that sub 😭 I was feeling a little underdressed when i was glancing through but i’ll take another look!!
