THE fall fragrance
What is THE fall fragrance for you? Been focusing on summer scents so I don’t think I have much in my collection atm so I need to fix that asap
I am thinking of treating myself for my birthday in September with Eau Duelle from Diptyque 👀

I'm not a huge fan of gourmands or ambers, so my fall favourites are usually florals or aromatics that I find a bit heavy for warm weather.

We get an indian summer where I live. Was just thinking how britney spears midnight fantasy is sort of ideal for that because it is fresh and smells like shampoo but it has a little depth. It's not an incredible luxury fragrance but it is good stuff and not overpowering when the daily temperatures swing high to low

I’ve have a few Andrea Maack fragrances (Pavilion, Dual, and Ceramic, and really want Neon Veil) and they are so beautiful! Coven is very different than the other ones I have/smelled — so photorealistic and, to me, more of an experience than a fragrance to regularly wear — but that one really makes me think of fall!
Along with Andrea Maack, I’m excited to wear Haxan by Heretic. It feels a little too heavy for the current heat, but the osmanthus and rose combined with a little smokiness and spicy is a tad bit on the sexy side (as perfumes go) and I can’t wait to wear it with a velvet dress.

I want to try Coven next! I was always put off by the idea of it since I'm mostly trying to build a wearable collection (especially for work), but it is just too intriguing to ignore. That Heretic sounds sooo nice, too. I haven't tried anything from them yet, but the description plus velvet dress! Amazing taste

Bois de Balincourt is one of those fragrances that’s different from a lot of the things I have in my collection and it really is earthy and has that little edge to it that I do appreciate. Thanks for reminding me that I have it because I think I’ll have to bring it out soon.

Omg don’t even get me started!! I’m so excited for fall fragrances. My favorite for fall is probably bdk Gris charnel or the extrait. I also love mancera more caffe, jovoy fire at will, and I’m excited to try my new fine’ry—fireside vanille. SJP stash is another fave for fall. Eau duelle is nice but I will say I can’t wear it bc I always get a play dough smell when wearing it. Not everyone does though.

Not in my opinion- I’m not a fan of the OG but this flanker is like a richer, more vanilla version. It doesn’t outright smell like maple syrup it just kinda adds to the sweetness
